The Speaker is Lyon's first Comedy Club, offering the best of stand-up comedy every week. After a successful first english show in April, we decided to add more dates for more fun!

For one hour, you can enjoy the hilarious performances of three amazing English-speaking comedians, who have come from afar just to entertain you. If you are a fan of British and American humor, this show will definitely be up your alley!

What about the lineup?

Thursday May 30th:

Six comedians from Lyon will perform test material in a 10-minute set each. This format is commonly seen in many English and American comedy clubs, allowing audiences to experience different personalities and perspectives on humor.

Exit is pay-what-you-want for the comedians.

Thursday June 13th:

Headliner will be Kaspar Kikerpill, a Paris-based Estonian comic with six years of stand-up experience, captivating audiences across over 15 cities in Europe. From the stages of New York to the vibrant scenes of Paris, Barcelona, and Copenhagen, Kaspar's humor knows no bounds. Get ready for a laughter-filled journey around the world.

Alongside Kaspar, a host and first act will perform for you for a night to remember!

Thursday July 4th:

Get ready for an American party for the 4th July with the amazing Jen Kirwin as a headliner!

Jen spent over 10 years performing stand-up on the road in the US, appearing at all the major comedy clubs nationwide, featuring for George Lopez, Wanda Sykes and Dave Chapelle, to name a few. Enjoy Jen's raw and honest perspective on life in this exceptional show.

Alongside Jen, a host and first act will perform for you for a night to remember!

At the Speaker, you can enjoy a lot more than just a comedy show. Before, during or after the show, you can indulge in any of our delicious organic products, including locally crafted beers. The Speaker is an excellent place not only to laugh but also to relax, socialize, and meet new people. Come join us for a great time with great food and drinks!

The doors will open at 6:30 PM, and we will have two sessions to accommodate more people. The first session will start at 7:30 PM, and the second one at 9:00 PM.

Please make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your show to allow enough time for seating and ordering food and drinks. While food options are available before or after the show, you are welcome to take your drink with you during the performance.
